Rep. Andrew Barkis to KVI’s Ari Hoffman: ‘Many critical positions lost’ as state workers are fired or forced off the job for refusing vaccination

House Republican Transportation Leader Rep. Andrew Barkis, R-Olympia, tells KVI's Ari Hoffman “many critical positions” were lost when 462 state transportation workers and 74 Washington State Patrol troopers were fired or forced off the job for not getting vaccinated. Barkis says the impacts will be felt for a long time. He's also concerned the governor may force private sector businesses to require their employees to be vaccinated.
